By booking any service with South Clean, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. General Terms of Service
• All services provided by South Clean include a minimum call-out charge.
• Free quotations are available over the phone based on the information provided by the customer.
• If the customer requests an on-site inspection before booking, a call-out fee may apply.
• Final pricing is confirmed after physical inspection of the items or property.
• South Clean reserves the right to adjust pricing if the actual condition differs from the description provided during booking.
• Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled, stained, damaged, or difficult-access areas.
• Customers agree to allow technicians to take before and after photos for service records and quality assurance purposes.

2. Pricing Guide

Carpet Cleaning
• Standard carpet cleaning starts from $40 per room
• Premium carpet cleaning starts from $80 per room
• Commercial and large carpet areas are charged between $4 – $5 per square metre
• Stair cleaning starts from $4 – $5 per stair

Upholstery Cleaning
• Couch cleaning starts from $40 per seat
• Armchair cleaning starts from $60
• Bed head cleaning starts from $70

Mattress Cleaning
• Mattress cleaning starts from $80 per mattress

Rug Cleaning
• Rug cleaning starts from $80 per rug

Curtain Cleaning
• Curtain cleaning starts from $80 per curtain

3. Premium Carpet Cleaning Package

Our Premium Carpet Cleaning package includes:
• Pre-vacuuming
• Deodorising and sanitising
• Carpet scrubbing
• Carpet shield protection
• Mould protection treatment
• Specialised stain and spot treatment

Premium carpet cleaning starts from $80 per room and is recommended for heavily used or high-traffic carpet areas.

4. Add-On Services

Additional treatment services are available from $20 per service.

Available add-ons include:
• Pre-vacuuming
• Deodorising and sanitising
• Carpet scrubbing
• Carpet shield protection
• Mould protection treatment

5. Bulk Booking Discounts

South Clean offers discounted pricing when multiple cleaning services are booked together.

Examples include:
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning
• Mattress and curtain cleaning
• Full house cleaning packages

The more services you combine, the more you save.

6. Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

Customers may modify or reschedule bookings by contacting South Clean via phone or email.

Cancellation Charges
• More than 24 hours notice: No cancellation fee
• Less than 24 hours notice: $50 cancellation fee
• Cancellation after technician arrival or refusal of service on-site: $120 call-out fee

South Clean reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unavoidable circumstances, weather conditions, equipment issues, or safety concerns.

7. Property Access Requirements

Customers must provide:
• Safe and clear property access
• Access to electricity and running water
• Suitable parking for technician vehicles

Parking charges incurred during the service may be added to the final invoice.

Additional charges may apply for:
• Multi-storey properties without lift access
• Long walking distance from vehicle to property
• Difficult access conditions

8. Payment Terms

Payment is required immediately after completion of service.

We accept:
• Cash
• Credit and Debit Cards
• EFT / Bank Transfer
• Check payments

If the customer is unavailable at the property during the service, South Clean may require full payment in advance before work begins.

Once the job is completed, the customer or someone present at the property must inspect the completed work before the technician leaves.

All outstanding payments must be cleared before the technician leaves the property.

9. Complaints & Claims

Customers should notify South Clean within 24 hours of service completion if they are not satisfied with the service.

Claims made after extended periods may not be accepted due to environmental changes, usage conditions, or third-party interference after cleaning.

South Clean technicians are not responsible for:
• Existing damage
• Hidden defects
• Weak fibres
• Previous repair work
• Damage caused by earlier cleaning attempts

10. Stain Removal Policy

South Clean does not guarantee 100% stain removal.

Stain removal results depend on:
• Type of stain
• Age of stain
• Fabric and fibre condition
• Previous chemical treatments
• Previous cleaning attempts

Some permanent stains such as:
• Bleach stains
• Dye stains
• Acid damage
• Grease stains
• High-alkaline chemical damage

may not be completely removable.

Additional charges may apply for specialised stain treatments or heavily stained items.

11. Odour & Mould Treatment

South Clean aims to significantly improve odours and mould contamination; however, complete removal cannot always be guaranteed depending on severity and material condition.

Customers acknowledge these limitations when booking mould or odour treatment services.

12. Carpet Cleaning Conditions

South Clean is not responsible for:
• Carpet fading caused by sunlight
• Weak carpet fibres
• Dye bleeding or colour migration
• Latex or carpet backing deterioration
• Existing damage becoming more visible after cleaning
• Wear and tear from age or foot traffic

Some carpets may naturally change texture or appearance after cleaning.

Typical carpet drying time is between 6–8 hours depending on weather, airflow, and carpet thickness.

Customers are advised to keep windows open and maintain proper ventilation after cleaning.

13. Curtain Cleaning Conditions

Curtain shrinkage between 5–10% may occur depending on fabric type and is considered normal industry standard.

South Clean is not responsible for:
• UV damage
• Fabric weakening
• Colour fading
• Rubber backing deterioration
• Existing material defects

Large or oversized curtains may be charged separately based on measurements.

14. Upholstery Cleaning Conditions

Upholstery cleaning pricing depends on:
• Fabric type
• Furniture size
• Number of seats
• Overall condition

Leather upholstery may attract additional charges.

South Clean is not responsible for colour migration or dye issues on delicate upholstery fabrics or leather materials.

15. Mattress Cleaning Conditions

Mattress cleaning prices vary depending on mattress size and condition.

South Clean does not guarantee:
• Complete stain removal
• Complete odour removal
• Removal of deeply absorbed liquids

Existing discolouration may remain after cleaning.

16. Final Agreement

By booking a service with South Clean, the customer agrees to all pricing, service limitations, and terms outlined above.
