How much does carpet cleaning cost in Melbourne?
South Clean’s carpet cleaning starts from $40 per room, with a minimum call-out fee of $120. Your exact price depends on the number of rooms and the condition of the carpet, and it is confirmed by our operator on site before any work begins.
How much does it cost to clean a sofa or couch?
Upholstery cleaning is $40 per seat. A standard three-seat sofa is priced per seat, and bundling it with a carpet clean in the same visit reduces the overall rate.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
Yes – there is a minimum call-out fee of $120, which covers smaller jobs. Larger jobs are priced on the services booked. There are no hidden charges and no travel surcharge, wherever you are in our service area.
Is the quoted price the final price?
The prices listed are estimates to help you plan. The final price is confirmed by our operator on site based on size, condition and fabric, and you approve it before we start. We do not add charges afterwards.
How much is mattress or rug cleaning?
Mattress cleaning starts from $80 per mattress and rug cleaning from $80 per rug. Both are cheaper when bundled with a carpet or upholstery clean in the same visit.
Do you charge more to travel to my suburb?
No. We service Greater Melbourne and the whole Mornington Peninsula at the same rates – there is no travel surcharge for outer suburbs or the Peninsula.
How do I pay, and when?
Payment is taken after the job is finished and you are happy with the result. Let us know if you need a written receipt – we provide one on request, which is what most property managers ask for on an end-of-lease clean.
